There’s a room, a warehouse or a storage contract nobody has looked at closely in years.
Everyone agrees it needs dealing with, and it’s lost every budget cycle it’s ever been in, because nothing breaks today if it stays exactly where it is. We clear it once, at enterprise volume and in any condition.
The situation
An audit request, a legal hold, a lease renewal on the space the boxes occupy, or a digital initiative that can’t start until the archive is digital. Archive is a risk and closure story. What sells it is what stops being true once the room is empty.
Why Archive
Whatever the paper looks like, whether it is a well-organized archive or a chaotic mix of bound volumes, large format and damaged originals, we capture it at scale.
30+ years of experience and four high-security processing facilities.
Every document is tracked from pickup or receipt through final digital delivery, with documented custody at every step.
On-site scanning available where records can’t leave the building; SOC 2 Type II across every processing facility.

Common triggers
A backlog of physical records sits between your organization and a digital or AI initiative that can’t start until the archive is digital.
An audit request or legal hold puts a hard date on records nobody has looked at closely in years.
A lease renewal, a floor consolidation or giving back square footage puts a deadline on an archive that has never had an owner.
What happens to your paper
Securely destroyed after a hold period you agree, with your sign-off approving the certified destruction before it happens.
Your originals come back to you, organized however the engagement calls for.
We hold your originals for an agreed term while you decide.
Questions we hear
Whatever condition it’s in. Bound volumes, large format, microfilm and microfiche, aperture cards, and damaged and fragile originals are all standard scope, not special cases.
No. Assessing the condition of your paper is our job. What you describe and what actually arrives routinely differ, which is why a sample runs before the full engagement is scoped.
Yes. Archive answers a volume problem: a finite pile of paper that needs to stop existing. Day-Forward answers a continuity problem: paper that keeps arriving because your process still produces it. The work is similar underneath, but the trigger, shape and economics are different.
You choose: secure destruction after an agreed hold period (the default), return of your originals, or storage for an agreed term.
Where this connects
Archive converts to Day-Forward often, usually once a client works out that clearing a backlog isn’t the same thing as keeping it clear. And once your records are digital, extracting, matching and classifying what’s inside them is Refine work, a separate DataBank category.
