What is Community?
As a refresher, Community is a portal that’s included with your OnBase purchase. By signing in with your Hyland profile, you can network with other OnBase users and employees and access exclusive content. Thousands of OnBase users, resellers, and employees access this site every day and it is constantly being updated and filled with the newest information.
Particularly passionate about ShareBase? Or maybe what’s new in the Hyland Cloud. Following an interest group in Community allows you to look at blogs, forums, downloads and updates all focused on that one topic. These can be extremely useful when adding a new feature to your existing system or when you’re looking to make the most out of what you have. By seeing what others are doing, what Hyland is rolling out and downloading guides, whitepapers, certification manuals and more, you can stay one step ahead of the content you need to know.
Products, Services, Technical, and Solutions
When you log into Community, you will see a menu bar at the top. Each of these sections dives deeper into all the different aspects found in OnBase. You can find things like Troubleshooting Checklists for most OnBase module, in-depth information on new and existing products like ShareBase and opportunities for education and certifications. One tab that we find most useful is the Solutions tab which breaks down different solutions being used today by industry and department. This makes it easier to sift through ideas and discussions by only seeing what can actually be applied to your organization. It can also be a great resource to see new ideas and implementations you hadn’t thought of before and then provide that community to help you through the process.
Let Your Voice Be Heard
On top of the information trove living in Community, it is also one of the best ways to have your voice heard. OnBase professionals who created the programs and modules are very active in Community and the discussions so when you voice ideas, concerns, and satisfaction with the products you’re using, they hear it. The more you participate in the conversations the more you’ll notice that some of your suggestions and ideas actually make their way into large upgrades, ebooks explaining the processes and more.
