Contrary to what you may hear from other companies, microfilm is not dead and in fact it is still a critical element to any successful document management strategy. Our experienced management team has years of experience in micrographic services and can integrate this technology into your business process improvement strategy.

Just because we have the capability to scan all your documents into a digital imaging system, doesn’t mean that you should do so. We are application driven and will advise you of the best strategy based on your business requirements.

We can microfilm for long-term storage requirements with low retrieval activity. If, and when, you need this information, the microfilm image can easily be scanned into your document management software.

In other applications we may scan your paper files and large documents and then provide you with an archival microfilm back-up for compliance or security requirements established by your company or organization.

When your digital images are no longer active and you do not want to store them online, then we can easily convert the digital images to industry standard microfilm for future reference. The index information remains in your document management system and the images are easily retrievable from the microfilm copies.

DataBank is one of the few full service micrographic companies left in our industry today. We still provide many clients with 16MM and 35MM roll film for various business related applications and large format requirements.

One of our unique specialties is the creation, duplication, and scanning of aperture cards. Our proprietary scanning conversion software allows us to create digital images that can be incorporated into your EDM, PDM and PLM software environments.
